This page is dedicated to tracking the progress and events associated with our new main branch, so check back to see the latest updates as we work to expand our services and offer a stand-alone, full service branch at 2942 W. Peterson Ave, just two blocks east of Lincoln Ave.
“We are excited about our expansion into the City of Chicago. This building shows our commitment to the North side community and the surrounding suburbs… For the last 75 years we have been helping to build the communities and companies that help support us and we look forward to doing the same for the north side of Chicago and the surrounding communities.” – Doug Buier, First Financial Credit Union Chairman

Groundbreaking

About 30 professionals attended including First Financial Credit Union President Patrick Basler, First Financial Credit Union Chairman Doug Buier, Alderman Debra Silverstein, representatives of La Macchia Group and several chamber of commerce representatives.
Construction
Local union contractors are being used for construction, which will take approximately seven months. The crew started work the week of September 19th with plans to finish in April of 2012. La Macchia Group, a Milwaukee-based firm and leader specializing in the design and construction of financial institutions, will be managing the construction.
